Miguel Vargas – GK – Club Cienciano – Sorare Preview
Miguel Vargas is the starting GK for Cienciano, he’s recently signed for them from Union La Calera in Chile. He was a backup there and has now transferred to Cienciano to get minutes as a first team GK. He’s kept 4 clean sheets in 10 matches, saving 2/3 penalties that he’s faced and also getting an assist! He’s currently averaging 2.5 saves per match and 0.2 successful sweeper keeper actions.
Adrian Ugarriza – FWD – Club Cienciano – Sorare Preview
Club captain and starting striker Adrian Ugarriza, he’s currently their starting number 9, although he can also play wide too. He currently has 4 goals and 1 assist in 10 matches so far this season and managed 3 goals and 5 assists in 21 matches last season.
Kevin Sandoval – MID – Club Cienciano – Sorare Preview
Kevin Sandoval has been Ciencino’s best player by a long way this season so far he has 3 goals and 6 assists in 10 matches. The wide forward averages 2.9 key passes per match and has created 6 big chances, the fact he’s on set pieces helps significantly. He has already surpassed last seasons numbers where he scored 4 and assisted 4 in 22 matches, he’s one to keep an eye on, can he sustain his purple patch?
Fernando Guerrero – MID
Fernando Guerrero is another wide midfielder, he was recently signed from Independiente de Valle in Ecuador. He’s settled at Cienciano very quickly notching 4 goals and 1 assist in 7 starts (9 matches). His SO5 scoring is verty reliant on a decisive action, he averages 0.8 key passes per match, 12.9 passes and 3.7 duels won.
Danilo Carando – FWD (Wildcard)
Danilo Carando is a wildcard pick I wanted to throw in there, the veteran forward signed for Cienciano in pre season and has scored 5 goals in 9 sub appearances. The 33 year old has an impressive scoring record of a goal every 39 minutes, admittedly it’s a small sample size but the numbers do not lie. It may took a lot for him replace club captain Ugarriza in the starting lineup but even off the bench he has SO5 value.
Paulo Fuentes is the pick of the centre backs and boasts a good scoring record so far this season with 2 goals in 10 matches and a better amount of duels won per match. Ayrthon Quintana is the U23 pick within the squad; the attacking full back just turned 21 and has returned 1 goal and 1 assist so far this season, he also has an impressive 2.9 duels won per match too. Josue Estrada is the other full back who has contributed 3 assists so far. But he has a relatively low amount of duels won and interceptions per match. Cienciano play 3 centre midfielders, all of which struggle with SO5 scoring, Angel Romero has an L15 of 40, Carlos Beltran 49 and Mathias Carpio 41.
